I have never been much of a foodie, nor am I a very great cook or baker. I often felt like we just didn’t have time but when the world shut down in March and all the kids swim meets and soccer games, practices and lessons, even school was on hold family time was all we had. The kids and I looked thru old cook books and online for recipes we wanted to try. I think Anya found this one and we made a few modifications, like an unlimited amount of sprinkles 😉
Ingredients
-3/4 cup butter
-1 cup granulated sugar
-1 egg plus 1 yolk
-1 box (3.5 oz) vanilla pudding mix
-1/2 teaspoon salt
-1 teaspoon baking soda
-1 teaspoon vanilla-2 cups flour
-sprinkles (unlimited!)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350. Line Baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Next beat butter and sugar on medium speed for 2 mins. Add in egg, vanilla, salt, and baking soda. Mix well.
Then mix in pudding for an additional 30 seconds.
Turn mixer to low and add in flour. Once combined spoon about 2 tablespoons of cookie dough onto baking sheet.
Finally add sprinkles to top of cookies, have fun! Don’t worry about the sugar here we are in a pandemic there are bigger issues 😉
